Being Supergirl -- Upcoming Class

I'm teaching a class starting Monday on writing/life balance. It's two weeks and offered through the YARWA. Come join us!

Class description:

The kids are screaming, your husband reminds you that you need milk, your boss is texting you, you have a big deadline at work tomorrow that makes your head hurt, and you have to finish drafting this scene tonight. Sound familiar? Whether you’re trying to balance a job with writing, writing with kids and a family—or both, the question remains the same—how do you do it all without losing your mind? You don’t have to ignore your family and make them eat takeout to get everything done. You can be SuperGirl. You may not be able to have it all, but you can have what you need.

We’ll talk about time management, work/life/writing balance, goal setting and re-evaluating, making time for everything (including yourself), building a support network, and how you can do it all while meeting deadlines, not getting fired, having a life, your husband not going on strike, not keeping the pizza man on speed-dial, and being a good (and happy) wife/mother/worker/friend. Participants will come away with a goal plan and ideas on how to make time for everything and will have the chance to learn and exchange time-management tricks and tips and strategies for balancing multiple aspects and actually making progress.

Just checked out the link, and I'm not sure how the class works. It's says it's on a Yahoo loop? I don't know what that is. So is this at a set time? Or on your own time throughout August 20-September 2.
