INNOCENT DARKNESS--Out Now!

INNOCENT DARKNESS is book 1 of The Aether Chronicles. You can buy it at your favorite book store or from  Amazon,  Indie Bound, The Book Depository, and Barnes and Noble.

In a Steampunk version of Los Angeles, Sixteen-year-old Noli Braddock's hoyden ways land her in an abusive reform school far from home. On mid-summer's eve she wishes to be anyplace but that dreadful school. A mysterious man from the Realm of Faerie rescues her and brings her to the Otherworld, only to reveal that she must be sacrificed.  If Noli doesn't die, an entire civilization will.
CHARMED VENGEANCE -- 2013
We just revealed the Book 2 cover and I wanted to share it with you all.

In the Faerie realm, Noli Braddock's relationship with her best friend V has grown into something more. But V's mother, Faerie Queen Tiana, has ruled that they are forbidden to see each other. Returning to the mortal realm, Noli joins the crew of her brother's air-pirate ship, the Vixen's Revenge. There she discovers that her brother has hired the scallywag Faerie huntsman, Kevighn Silver. While serving as shipmates, Kevighn and Noli learn that the Earth Court King plans to find a forbidden artifact--one that will bring destruction to everyone Noli loves.

For more information, extras, reader guides, and pictures check out the series web page.

But...before you go, I have a special contest just for you! Three people will each win a book from my "stash of awesome." I also have three swag packs to give away. They will include CHARMED VENGEANCE swag, this is your chance to get some first!

I dont think I've read a Steampunk book before...unless you count Cassi Clare's Infernal Devices series. As for fairy book? Definitely Janette Rallison's My Fair Godmother series!

Both books sound great. Steampunk AND faeries? Sounds like an interesting combination. I haven't read any modern Steampunk yet, but I've read all the old style stuff (Jules Verne, H G Well etc) and I'd like to give Steampunk a go. Robert Rankin does a comedy version of Steampunk and I enjoy that. As for faerie books, I enjoyed the Paranormalcy series and I'd like to read Iron Fey.

I love Steampunk! But the only YA steampunk that I've read so far is Cassie Clare's Infernal Devices. As for fairy books I haven't come across any in any genre that I've liked as of yet (I haven't read that many fairy books though) :)
