It's YA Scavenger Hunt Time!

THE HUNT IS OVER, THANKS FOR PLAYING!

Welcome to the YA Scavenger Hunt!

You are hunting on

I'm Suzanne Lazear, I write the Aether Chronicles Series (fairytale steampunk). Welcome, have a cupcake.  You can start the hunt here or you can go to the YA Scavenger Hunt homepage to find out more or if you're stuck. There are TWO contests going on and you can enter one or both! I'm part of the BLUE TEAM--but there's red team as well, with a different set of signed books to win. Many authors are also having extra content, not to mention each site in the hunt hosts exclusive bonus content from another YA author.

Book 1, INNOCENT DARKNESS, is out now. Book 2, CHARMED VENGEANCE comes out next summer. Somewhere in this hunt is hidden a special Noli, V, and James holiday short.

To enter to win the big prize, collect the favorite numbers of all the authors on the blue team, and then add them up.Hint: the secret number is highlighted RED. Once you've added up all the numbers, make sure you fill out the form here to officially qualify for the grand prize. Only entries that have the correct number will qualify. Open internationally, anyone below the age of 18 should have a parent or guardian's permission to enter. To be eligible for the grand prize, you must submit the completed entry form by December 2, at noon Pacific Time. Entries sent without the correct number or without contact information will not be considered.

And now on to the author I'm hosting today:

LEIGH FALLON

 SHADOW OF THE MARK

It has been foretold that a relationship between two Marked Ones could lead to untold catastrophe and
disaster.

Megan and Adam are determined to defy the risks.

While Megan evoked the air element, and her feelings for Adam intensified, a web of lies, deceit, and
betrayal was spun around her. With the Order tightening its hold, and the reinstatement of the Mark
Knights, Megan has more questions than answers as the Marked Ones grow in strength.

New people arouse suspicion, the DeRises start behaving strangely, and Megan begins to unravel a
destiny shrouded in mystery. It’s a destiny the Order has struggled to hide, and a destiny someone
from the past...far in the past, has already laid claim to.

Alliances will be made, and friends will be lost, as the Order’s dark secrets are revealed by the very
thing they sought to destroy.

This book releases July 9, 2013. Pre-order the book here. Book 1, CARRIER OF THE MARK is
available now.

My favourite holiday tradition is the fact that we don't have one. We do something different every year and the main thing is that we are enjoying family time and enjoying each other's company. Two years ago we played board games to open presents. Winner got to open a present. This year we are going to the Dominican Republic which is something I've never done.

Also, right after the New Year countdown, my dad and I take out special coins we've collected over the years and compare them

We always leave putting up x-mas decorations on Dec 24 so that the kids think that Santa actually came over night. It's exhausting since they get up super early in the morning but worth it. One of the kids is old enough to know better, but the youngest one is just starting to get into the spirit of Santa (4 yrs old). Thanks for the giveaway!
